Setting up two-factor authentication (TOTP)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to sign in. Even if someone learns your password, they still need the code from your authenticator app.

How to enable TOTP

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Open Account > Security.
3. Click Enable next to Authenticator App.
4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar).
5. Enter the six-digit code shown in the app.
6. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe.

The next time you sign in, you will be asked for a code from your app.

Tip: keep your recovery codes in a password manager. They are the only way back into your account if you lose your phone.
