Setting up email-based two-factor authentication

Email-based two-factor sends a one-time code to your email address each time you sign in.

How to enable email 2FA

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Open Account > Security.
3. Click Enable next to Email Code.
4. Confirm your email address.
5. Save your recovery codes.

Each sign in

1. Enter your password.
2. Open the email with your six-digit code.
3. Enter the code to finish signing in.

Email 2FA is convenient, but make sure the email account itself is protected with its own strong password.
